Today I want you to make a powerpoint of your experiences in this class. You can use words, or just all pictures. I don't particularly want to know just what you learned from work, but your overall experience. It can be about different things we covered in class, different movies we watched, different music, or whatever you want. I want to know what you have taken from this class and will remember throughout your high school experience. I just wanted to see some entertaining powerpoints about your experience in this class, and whether you enjoyed your year in my class or not! I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Remember, pictures and words, or just pictures! You can use a little animation if you want, but I'm leaving it solely up to your discretion! Enjoy your day!

I'm not dumb enough to believe that if I give you a typing assignment, you are going to do it like I want. The majority of you will cheat on it, which I am aware of, since I'm not in class today! So for today, I want you to type on the Freetypinggames.net website, or play TyperShark, or any other typing game you want for at least 30 minutes. After that, play games, but do not go on any stupid websites! I would hate to have to ban your internet privileges this late in the year! Have a good day, I will be back tomorrow!

Get in your business groups. I will hand out your folders. Today you are going to make a business letterhead on which memo's and business reports are created on. Go to the following link...I would suggest using Publisher for this, since you can create text boxes and insert pictures easier.
http://www.crews.org/curriculum/ex/compsci/8thgrade/letterhead.html
This page has an example of two letterheads that go on sheets of paper. I would suggest creating the letterhead with your logo, and your address, and contact information. I have an example of one from the high school that I can show you. Look online ....
http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=letterhead+examples&gbv=2&aq=f&oq=letterhead+example&safe=active
Here are more examples for you to look at. Make sure that you print off in color and turn in. I will not be here tomorrow, so look for your assignment online!
Thanks,
-Wright
