Happy Earth Day! Today you will be creating a PowerPoint concerning Earth Day and ways you can help out the earth! I want 5 slides with the following information! Be creative!

Slide 1 - Title

Slide 2 - Importance of Earth Day

Slide 3 - Importance of Taking Care of the Earth for Future Generations

Slide 4 - Importance of Taking Care of our Oceans

Slide 5 - Conclusion slide with any pictures of the environment you want

Get into your business groups, and create business cards, they should have the following in color. Be creative.....

Start Microsoft Publisher. Go to Blank Publications. Select Business Card
Create a business card for your business. Be sure to include the following information:
1) Logo
2) Company Name
3) Your name and title (Eg. Owner, President, Manager)
4) Address
5) Phone
6) Email
7) Web address
8) When you are done, Print and Turn In! Place it in your folder for your company!

Pair Up and Open up Microsoft Publisher, and click on Publications for Print, and then find Advertisements. Click on this and find a black and white advertisement you like.

Then click on this link http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com/ . This is a website of home remedies that cure all types of illnesses. Make a ficticious product from one of the remedies naming it whatever you want, and create an advertisement for it. Use the template that publisher gives you, but put color on it, and put in the appropriate things that the advertising tempalte asks for. It can be for an appendicitis, chicken pox, or whatever. Look at the list on the left and pick out a remedy and make a fake product. Be creative with the name and the advertisement. Add pictures and color.....

Make sure to go to Page Setup and set it to full page before you print! THen Turn In!

Hope you had a good spring break, welcome back! Today I want the following assignment done by the end of class, Printed out in color!

Using Publisher, I want you to create an advertisement/flyer for an existing hotel/casino in Las Vegas (The Mirage, Mandalay Bay, The Palms, MGM Grand, etc.) Think of brochures or advertisements you've seen in magazine and try to use the same type of layout. You are trying to make these resorts look appealing to the customer.

Open Publisher and go to the blank publications and open up the full page option. The publication must have the following.

-Title

-Pictures of the Resort

-BackGround Design

-Contact Information

-Rates for the Hotel

-Some of the attractions that the resort offers (Casino, Pool, Shops, Nightclubs, etc.)

Pair up with ONE PARTNER and Print in color. Make sure that both your names are on the page somewhere! Remember you can copy and paste pictures anywhere on the page. You can also insert text boxes anywhere.
