Aloha!This is your first blog assignment. Since we are now up and blogging in the classroom, I want you to find out what it is and how other people have used it in the classroom. Take a look at the link below and other people's websites and how blogs are used in the class.

I want you to write two paragraphs. The first is what you think a blog is and how it can be used in our class. Do you think it's lame, boring, cool, or ______? Fill in the blank. Don't try to be too cool and say it's lame. Think about what we are doing and compare it to other classes and see what you think.On paragraph two, I want you to write about how you think a blog could be useful in other classes that you have. Would you like to see this in other classes, or do you think it would be a waste of time? Do you think other teachers would be able to do this in their class.

Basically I want your opinion on what a blog is, how it is used, and what we can do with this. Remember I am going to be grading these so the more content you have, the better your grade is. I want you to put effort into this, because you are working on your own, and I am grading your thoughts. There are no right or wrong answers. I want at least 4-5 sentences in each paragraph.When you are done, go through and make sure that you're profile is complete and that you have a picture of yourself or something that interests you on it. Make sure that your blog is set up how you want it. Also, go through and find other peoples blogs and leave comments on what they write about on today's assignments.
